My Story

I spent the best part of 10 years working as a Vice President in front office sales roles in Equities at J.P. Morgan and Citigroup – I know, first hand, the joys and the strains of working long hours, under pressure, for some of the most prestigious firms in the world.

The moments of joy coming with closing a big piece of business but equally the strains of spending 12+ hours a day in front of a screen, going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark, the 5am alarms & the late night client dinners. The sense of there always being more to do & never, ever, seeming to get enough sleep.
Despite being a top performer at work, I always had a sense that something wasn’t quite right with my work & that I was destined for something else. It wasn’t until the huge amount of pressure I put on myself to succeed manifested as physical illness & I broke down in tears on the tube one day in 2015 that I decided I needed to start really taking a look at what was really going on for me.

How could it possibly be that despite having spent my entire life ‘succeeding’, I felt like such a failure and so utterly lost? From that point on, as my career continued to blossom during the daytime, in the evenings & on weekends I dedicated myself to self-improvement – starting, as it does for many people, with psychotherapy and then taking a more somatic approach – including yoga, breathwork & energy healing practices.

More about me

Before I lose you, if I’m completely honest, I was seriously sceptical of any kind of alternative healing practice – I come from a relatively traditional family & had enough resistance as it was going to therapy, let alone looking at my energy body, but all I can say is that it was the blend of these practices alongside coaching which helped me completely transform my experience of life & gave me the courage to finally take the leap into the unknown by leaving my work.

Little did I know, it was my experience in banking which finally led me to what it was I was meant to be doing all along, which is helping people to transform their experience of life, as I did for myself.
I am a fully qualified coach, holding the ICF accredited Diploma in Transformational Coaching and having also trained directly with London’s top life coach, Jacqueline Hurst, hold a certification in Life Coaching under her name.

Having trained in a number of different therapies over the years, as a coach I have the luxury of being able to dip into different approaches which best suit you as the client. Alongside my coaching qualifications, I am also a fully qualified breathwork facilitator, yoga teacher, reiki practitioner & Ayurvedic lifestyle and nutrition consultant.
